The 5th International Intensive Course on Islamic Psychology- IICIP

“Islamic Psychology: Foundations and Contemporary Topics”

This year will mark the 5th International Intensive Course on Islamic Psychology (IICIP) held by the Department of Psychology, Universitas Islam Indonesia.

IICIP is observing a change in the global situation this year, including the persistence of long-running conflicts in many Muslim nations, the occurrence of new conflicts and wars, natural disasters (such as drought, floods, earthquakes, etc.), as well as social injustice faced by people around the globe, including our Muslim brothers and sisters.
The Department of Psychology at Universitas Islam Indonesia believes it is urgent to investigate the depth of Islam and its relevance to contemporary problems in order to address today’s challenges.

This course work is an offline version of the intensive course in Islamic psychology over three weeks.

‍Participants:
The classes are open for students from around the world. We are also inviting lectures from various countries.

Course Requirements:
Certificate of completion of the course is given to students who meet the following requirements:
a. Attendance at every class session is required. There will be 24 hours of class sessions in this course, which is equivalent to 2 credit units.
b. Participants must turn in their final papers in the third week (July 20, 2023), one week after the classes are over, with selected subtopics pertaining to the subjects covered in class.

To advance discussions on the applicability of Islamic Psychology to the current environment, two colloquia series are provided.

You can register for full three weeks sessions, including colloquia series, paper submission and student conference. Full attendant is needed to earn a certificate of completion of the intensive course.

You will obtain a certificate of participation if you register for a partial package.

Registration fee for Full Package is IDR Rp 3.000.000,-.

Special Full Package price for Students, Islamic Psychology enthusiast, and religious school communities: IDR 1.500.000,-

Daily Package: IDR 400.000,-

Weekly Package: IDR 1.100.000
